About the Artist
Based in Somerset County, New Jersey, she is a multidisciplinary artist and high school art teacher whose artwork is inspired by life experiences. She often produces artwork that explores the relationship between horses and humans after riding and working at a barn over the last 15 years.
Her favorite mediums to work with are oil paint and ink, but she has also created with pastels, ceramics, linocut printing, digital, laser cutting, sculpture, drawing, and painting. She uses photography as a basis for her work, using many of her photographs as references.
She received her bachelor's degree in Art Education (BA) from
The College of New Jersey, and earned her master's degree in Art Education (MA) from The Art of Education University to share her passion for art and design with others.
